Mono Mate

Contact card QR code: Scan once, saved in their phone.

Put your details on a business card, sign or name badge. People scan it and add you as a contact in one tap. No app, no sign-up, no expiry. Mono, your little mate, gives a hop when your code is ready to scan.

Your details

Choose the country, then type the number the way you’d dial it at home. We add the country code so it works from anywhere.

Address and note

Only add an address if people need to find you. Every extra field makes the code denser.

Logo in the middle

Contact codes are already busy, so a logo makes them bigger. Skip it if the code is going on a business card.

Four is the standard. Less can make phones struggle to read it.

Your code

Getting ready…

SVG and PDF stay sharp at any size.

The same card as a file, for email signatures and messages.

Your details are turned into a code in this browser. They’re never sent to us or anyone else.

Straight up, no catch

Your details, exactly

The code holds your contact card itself, not a link to a profile page someone else controls.

Works forever

No account and no expiry date. It even works when the person scanning has no reception.

Stays on your device

We never see your name, number or email. Nothing is stored after you close the page.

No fake buttons

The only download buttons are the real ones, right under your code.

Ads in their own box

Ads keep the site free. Every one is labelled, hatched and kept well away from the buttons you need.

Good to know

What happens when someone scans it?

Their phone camera reads the code and shows your contact card with an option like “Add to contacts” or “Create contact”. Nothing is saved until they tap it. The details are inside the code, so it works without an internet connection.

What should I include?

What people need to reach you: your name, business, mobile, email and website. Every extra field adds squares to the code, which makes it harder to scan when it’s printed small. Leave the address off unless people need to find you.

My details changed. Can I update the code?

No. Your details are written into the code, so make a new one and reprint. The upside is there’s no subscription to keep paying and nothing that can expire or be redirected.

What’s a vCard?

vCard is the standard format phones and email apps use for contact cards. This tool writes version 3.0, which iPhone, Android, Outlook and Gmail all read. The .vcf download is the same card as a file you can attach to an email.
